Hands Up For EuroPeers
In the beginning of 2017, our organization has been an active partner and has participated with 5 members and volunteers in the “Hands Up For EuroPeers” International Project.
The first activity took place in Hamburg, Germany during 20 – 24 of February 2017 , in which Vilceanu Andrei Tudor has represented Center of Strategies for Youth Development.
The next two activities took place in London, UK 12 – 17 of March and 25 – 31 of the same month. In these activities, the participants have been Codrin Panaitescu, Maximilian Peev, Raluca Mica, Ramona Ola.
The aim of the project is to promote and develop EuroPeers networks in the UK and in other countries where these have not yet been established, to link with some of the more experienced EuroPeers networks (e.g. Germany) and to create peer-to-peer training and development opportunities for young people across Europe.
Upon our return home, we have organized a workshop inside the Timisoara Youth House where we talked with the youngsters and youth workers from the Timis County Youth Foundation regarding the EuroPeers network and about the opportunity that it represents for young people.
- We’re not done with this yet! Our team has started filling in an application form in order to receive funds for organizing a EuroPeers international Youth Exchange in our city of Timisoara, Romania.
- Also, based on the experience that we got during this project, we already planed on organizing a series of workshops for 3 days (28-29-30 July) on the topic of Youth Networks and how to develop international partnerships between organizations but also between youngsters.
